My task was to design typography inspired by a city. I chose Chiang Mai, Thailand, for its inspiring festival of lanterns (Yi Peng). The letters’ Chiang’ and ‘Mai’ were transformed into decorative and floating lanterns. I brought this project to life in analog and presented it on a 14x14” artboard.
